steel sips in Hawaii

Has anyone here worked with building house using the steel SIPS for both walls and roof? There are a lot of different products out there, but most of the information is geared towards commercial applications.

I've been using steel SIPS for roofs for twenty years here. Haven't seen a steel wall SIP I like yet. What are you considering?

The modular farm building kit walls are very SIP-like in their demeanor. Compare/contrast?

They are what is know as sandwich panels. Not load bearing. They make a good exterior skin but the structure
is in the posts, trusses and floor frame.

The S in SIPS stands for structural.

Family off island is looking to build a part time home that needs to be low maintenance, hurricane and proof proof, or as close to that as they can reasonably get. Their mainland home is a mid century classic and they were looking at a modernist prefabs but shipping is a deal breaker for those. Looking for something that goes up quick and doesn't have a bunch of wood getting rained on for months waiting for inspections.

Last time they visited to close on their lot we took them to a party and the building department and contractor horror stories some of our friends shared have them a little spooked about stick built/site built construction.
