Okidoki folks.....

There is going to be a pre Primary Election Party

When: Friday September 19 6pm to 9 pm

Who: All local candidates are expected to be there

Why: Cause we can all get along and love Puna

Where: Uncle Sam Kaleleiki's Aina on Hwy 130 where Kalua Pig is sold.

What: Potluck, pupus, music, bring your guitar, open mike, talk story with the candidates (No speeches - maybe just introductions).

This is a sincere get together to aloha each other after a busy primary campaign season. I understand that all local candidates have been contacted and say they will be there.

So Let's have some fun with this!!

I wonder why they would do this on the same day as the Big Islands Democratic Rally at the same time?

Maybe they are simply two different events and you can do one or both as you wish.

Not to knock the Democratic Rally or anything...

But I have the feeling... the real "Party" is gonna be this one.

I have the feeling the Hilo event is gonna be a bunch of the "old school boyz"... even though Obama's sister is scheduled to attend.

With the price of gas... you can only imagine which event I might go to if I didn't already have previous commitments. []
