pahoa village residential construction authority? - Ccat - 07-28-2024 Who/how is residential construction controlled in Pahoa village? Is there anything more that just the county building permit? ie HOA or "city" authority something or other on residential construction? RE: pahoa village residential construction authority? - kalakoa - 07-29-2024 No incorporated cities or towns other than Honolulu. Some subdivisions have CC&Rs enforced by an HOA. County "design guidelines" might apply to property on the main drag -- not sure if these were actually ratified for Pahoa. RE: pahoa village residential construction authority? - Hotzcatz - 08-03-2024 There might be some 'historical preservation' rules involved if it a built property that's old enough, but I don't see that enforced often. County for Planning and Building, State Dept of Health for septic system. |
