The Hawaii-related ukulele thread
#1
We all know the ukulele is associated with Hawaii, so to bring some joy back into PW, how about posting some of your favorite ukulele videos? A couple of mine:

Great thread and songs Tom!  Here's a great one where PWers can learn a thing or two while enjoying the music.

I wish you all the best

Too bad that Hawaiians donʻt play ukulele as well as these masters.

Showing my age but this is the 1st person I heard play a Uke.

Interesting story and he actually is credited for popularizing the Uke.

Former Maui resident George Harrison.
Recorded in his home, the last video he ever made.
He peeks in right at the end.
Aloha George.

So nice to see Punaweb in high music vibe! Here is just one hot slack key of our own Kalapana boy, Led Kaapana. It's such a treat to see him often at Orchidland Kaleo's, still. "Never on Sunday":

Than you, Kiana. Heʻs one of my favorites, although I believe thatʻs a guitar, not an ukulele. I saw him at Kaleioʻs Orchidland and he was awesome. Heʻs lost some weight since that video was posted. Hereʻs one for you.

Yeah, that.  First one I thought of but it still gives me chicken skin whenever I hear it so I posted something else.  Wink

Just one more from the band in the UK - "You don't bring me flowers." And then, Jake Shimabukuro.
