RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Guest - 08-12-2017 King TomK, Why don't you do some homework and answer your own questions? Many of the burials were done in secrecy because that's the way the Hawaiians did these things. The lake on the summit was being used for various reasons long before the observatory road. Hawaiians also used parts of the summit of Mauna kea for there own practices, guidance and gain of knowledge before the road was built. The Hawaiian community shared the summit with (A) telescope under tough economical times after a tsunami washed over the island. Since then the Summit of Mauna Kea has turned into an astronomers Disney land at the expense of Mauna Kea and the Hawaiian people. The TMT is way to big and promises to bring millions more disrespecting tourists to the summit which may further ruin and contaminate what was once a peaceful, calm and sacred place for many. jmo's again King TomK. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 08-12-2017 Didn't think you'd be brave enough to answer my question. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - kalakoa - 08-12-2017 All the "protectors" have to do is allow TMT to be built, then steal it. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - randomq - 08-12-2017 TomK, name calling? Gypsy, don't forget the commercial adze quarry, which tore up over 7 miles of sacred mauna, almost all the way to the top! RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 08-12-2017 gypsy says: Why don't you do some homework and answer your own questions? Bold commentary from the man who has asked the same questions on this and other threads dozens of times, who has received consistent answers repeatedly to those questions dozens of times, who ignores the questions directed toward him which ask for clarification of unsubstantiated or unusual comments, repeatedly, and like Bill Murray in 'Groundhog Day' wakes up in the morning ready to do it all over again. I could just as well ask, why don't you do some homework? Perhaps a pack of untrained, untethered dogs ate it? (It's) what the existentialists called "awful freedom" the reinvention of irrationality by marginalized people, just in order to spite science. -Elif Batuman RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Chunkster - 08-12-2017 Haven't you guys figured out yet that Gypsy is an elaborately verbose, over-the-top troll? And here I go feeding him/her, LOL. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 08-12-2017 Gypsy is an elaborately verbose, over-the-top troll Whaaat? That's quite a claim. Don't you think we should put the question directly to him, allow him to finish his homework, then let him not confirm or not deny that he's an over-the-top troll himself? (It's) what the existentialists called "awful freedom" the reinvention of irrationality by marginalized people, just in order to spite science. -Elif Batuman RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 08-12-2017 randomq - not name calling, just pointing out Gypsy's normal behavior on PW. He takes but doesn't give. Just wait to see if he actually bothers to answer your question. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - galileo - 08-14-2017 http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/36132623/apo-voices-support-for-tmt Peter Apo was interviewed and states that if the priests and ali'i were offered the TMT, they would accept it. They would build a temple and mount the TMT on top of it. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Guest - 08-14-2017 Peter Apo also believes he can sexually harass and bully woman. http://www.hawaiifreepress.com/ArticlesMain/tabid/56/ID/18983/My-Conversation-with-OHA-Sex-Harassment-Victim.aspx I don't trust Mr Apo and or his decisions or choices. Why would Mr Apo have OHA pay $50,000 for his inappropriate actions towards a woman? http://www.civilbeat.org/2017/03/trask-sues-apo-over-alleged-sexual-harassment-settlement/ Mr Apo has always been in favor of the TMT from the beginning. He never wanted to to take the TMT off the table or really listen to his people he is representing. jmo's |
