That's why dash cams, or their equivalent for PW threads, are such a useful tool these days.

There is much More some could do than just visit observatories on Mauna Kea. This is a great article with some pretty good photo's as well. I love these types of extreme adventure opportunities.

In reality, how many people really go to the peak to visit the observatories? I think they go for the view and possibly, their own spiritual reasons. Speaking of which, are Hawaiians the only ones allowed to have a spiritual reason to visit Mauna Kea?

Most of the tourists that visit the summit are there to watch the sunset.

Details have been released about the BLNR hearing on Wednesday, September 20th at the Naniloa. It is not a public hearing but some seats are available on a first come basis while Na Leo TV plans to stream the hearing.
