RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 11-28-2017

Heard a song in the bar tonight which has always been one of my favorites (as well as Pam's). I'm sure you can guess the artist and song, but just a small twist of the lyrics comes up with:

"I can see by your posts you must be lying
When you think I don't have a clue
Baby you're crazy
If you think that you can fool me
Because I've seen that nonsense too

The one where the players are acting surprised
Saying aloha's a five letter word
Between forcing smiles, with the knives in their eyes
Well their actions become so absurd

So keep your protests for somebody
Who hasn't got so much to lose
'Cause you can tell by the lines I'm reciting
That I've seen that nonsense too

It's a habit I have, I don't get pushed around
Stop posting your crap like you do
I'm not the target for all of your bull****
Because I've seen that nonsense too
The one where the players are acting surprised
Saying aloha's a five letter word
Between forcing smiles, with the knives in their eyes
Oh their actions become so absurd
"

And if you haven't figured it out (boy, I hope you have!), then:

TomK, you may be spending to much time at the local bars drinking beers.
First you post that you will do your best to give an update on actual TMT news. Then your next post you go on and on with twisted drunken lyrics about Knives in their eyes and absurd nonsense. Maybe this is your version of recent TMT news, i'm not sure.
Good luck with that habit of drinking your pain away sir. I can only hope you are at least calling an uber or Taxi driver to get home from the bar visits during the week. This very sad incident happened on an Easter night just a couple years back in your neck of the woods.

Good one TomK, both the comment and the music.
Thanks.

TMT Update:

- Hawaiian kingdom no longer exists. Just a bunch of con men and feckless racist losers looking for someone else to blame for their personal failures.

- The old gods don't exist. Considering the stories attributing their actions to spite, jealousy, and incestuous lust, I don't think we're going to miss them.

- Science exists. It's hard work, not everyone can understand it, but it benefits everyone.

You're welcome.

randomq, Aloha to you.

Interesting points you make regarding old god's don't exist anymore and that only science exists. Maybe that's one of the reasons why today's astronomers are always getting what they want while native practitioners are always getting the shaft. Is it possible that The TMT project's astronomers could help other scientists prove God does not exist afterall?
Some here may find these following articles interesting.

LOL, at the many comments following this article.

Being raised here on the Big Island has allowed me to gain belief in the fire goddess "Pele" and a few other gods that are mentioned in this short Hawaiian Myths and legends article.

native practitioners are always getting the shaft

"Getting the shaft" in the form of free road access to the sacred summit, or by DHHL "reserving" land that nobody will ever be allowed to use? Please clarify.

Aloha Gypsy69,

If you waste your time worshipping and praying to nonexistent gods, you will certainly get worse results on average than someone else that works more logically to further their goals.

Why even believe in gods that act in such despicable ways? Wakea married his half-sister and raped his own daughter, does he deserve our reverence?

Even if the gods did exist, they are apparently cool with Christian missionaries, the overthrow of the kingdom, telescopes on Mauna Kea, and Hawaiian homelands remaining empty while Hawaiians remain homeless, etc...

Waste of good electrons.

RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - PaulW - 11-29-2017

In Internet slang, a troll (/#712;tro#650;l/, /#712;tr#594;l/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting quarrels or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2]

Trollboy's post above where he implies that a forum member is an alcoholic and possibly killed a person while drunk, is classic trolling.

Just in case he deletes it in utter shame:
