The work place can be a predatory area for unhappy men and women, too.

Both sides need to work on this healing. And openness is correct! Trust needs to be rebuilt.

That this would be your 1st post here spilling your personal life to a room full of strangers is Suspect.
This little tidbit “ In Hawaii County alone there are some 1,000 folks listed on Fetlife, teachers, your neighbors, your friends. “ makes me think your a hate crime waiting to happen .

Ahhh, never fails when posting your personal problems on a public forum... You'll have to forgive the knee jerk reactions and take all the BS posts with the good ones. It's unavoidable to have the herd start attacking you openly as their are bound to be a few to read your post and interpret it differently than it becomes a shark feeding frenzy.

I don't take it personally. I don't need empathy or to to embarrass someone. If if it doesn't apply in your marriage, that's fantastic. I'd argue most people don't think they will get ever get cheated on until they do.

Infidelity is not inevitable, it does seem frequently incremental though. A clear window into each others lives, and walls with inappropriate contacts can go a long way to limiting or preventing incremental erosion of boundaries.

As far as your new found openness goes, does your wife know you are posting about this on here?

O.k. Broken Trust, you got it off your chest, now please follow up with your lessons learned in both therapy and self enlightenment over the next few weeks.

Also unless the 'guy' coming after you, leave him alone and don't take it personal if can.
