Neil Abercrombie is in grave risk of losing to state Sen. David Ige in the Democratic primary, according to a new Hawaii Poll that shows the governor's job approval and favorability sinking among voters. Ige, chairman of the Senate Ways and Means Committee, holds a 54 percent to 36 percent lead over Abercrombie with 11 percent undecided. Six months ago (the news stated), half of the people polled didn't even know who Ige was. Perhaps Duke Aiona will become the next Gov. with these new numbers. The news this morning did show Aiona would beat Ige or Abercrombie, and Mufi. Wow. Mr. Tom, thank you so much, Sir, for your point of order, and kindness. |
