RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Dave Smith - 09-13-2008 There's also the possibility it's a ploy to grab attention either by Kubat, Pilago or both. RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Rob Tucker - 09-13-2008 That would be one strange ploy. Punaweb moderator RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Dave Smith - 09-13-2008 Speaking of Pilago, have you checked hunterbishop.com lately? RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - George - 09-13-2008 The plot thickens. Recently a complaint was filed with the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission regarding Billy Kenoi's report of $750/month for rental of his Hilo Campaign Headquarters (Note, originally he reported NO expenditure for this facility, now he has amended his filings to include $750/month for about a year.) The complaint was faxed to the commission sometime last week along with a note stating that a hard copy would follow via US mail, and that it was hoped that by faxing it the complaint could be included on the Commission's September 10 meeting agenda. Subsequent to the fax being sent no agenda was published for the September meeting of the Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission and in fact the meeting was canceled with no explanation as to why. What's up with that? I don't know about what's happening with Pilago but everything that involves Billy is whacked. RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Jen-ay - 09-15-2008 Thank you for bringing this to light, Jeff Clarks. The political ploys of this Mayoral race are astonishing and quite disheartening. This is just anothe reason why we NEED an alternative newspaper. Hunter does a good job, but it would be so nice to have somehting tangible to recieve REAL news from. RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Dave Smith - 09-15-2008 What, exactly, has been brought to light? Mr. Clarks has yet to elaborate in the slightest about his allegations which contain nothing more than innuendo and buzzwords. This is worse than no information at all. RE: They're trying to kill the messenger! - Guest - 09-15-2008 Several people have now posted stuff regarding candidates and then never come back. I often wonder their motivations. ------- Glob |
