Yes, my son does wonderful work with tile and natural stone (and cement). He is back and forth between here and Waikoloa, but he could do a job over here, just needs to schedule it around the stupid furlough Friday and half day Wednesday, when he does child care in Waikoloa.

I've got a furniture/appliance hand truck with a strap. It will help a bunch with the Uni. I couldn't have moved mine around with out it. That and the 80 gallon compressor!!

Thanks AGAIN! I have some moving dollys, but will probably need to rent a steel ramp- the bed of the container is 5' off the ground! There still may be enough lumber on the site to make a ramp.

Matson is handling picking up the container and contracts with Conan's (sp?) to deliver it to our property.

Tell Ed once you are settled in that we will have a "clay date" in my studio. Also my friend/fellow clay artist Shannon Hickey is opening her new downtown teaching facility in the rear of her new gallery space on the waterfront. Her gallery is called High Fire and her new space is next to the Kava Bar. It opens on Friday. She will be offering ceramics classes there.

We made a ramp using 3 2x12x16', 1x2 cleats screwed to center 2x12, 2x4 support underneath at 8'. worked great, some very heavy loads on a refrigerator dolly. measure dolly wheel width to insure cleats are narrow enough to allow dolly to straddle them. spacing of cleats app.12" on center.

I used a kick wheel in High School and loved it over the electric ones. It was also high with a shell around it which gave me a place
for my elbows. I looked for plans to build one but have not found
anything like what I used then. Would love to have a Clay day!
