RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 10-03-2016 PS. Milestone document 300, at least in my PDF reader, is upside down in pages 2-4! https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/files/2016/10/TMT-300-Freitas.pdf RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Guest - 10-04-2016 This is an interesting article that includes the TMT project and others like it. The sheer size and technology involved with these new age telescope projects are very impressive to say the least. http://www.mnn.com/earth-matters/space/blogs/6-new-telescopes-that-will-change-the-way-we-see-space Really makes one curious as to which billion dollar telescope will discover alien life first? Or what the scientists would name the alien life after discovering it? RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - kalakoa - 10-04-2016 which billion dollar telescope will discover alien life first? The one that actually gets built. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 10-04-2016 Or what the scientists would name the alien life after discovering it? If they're discovered by a telescope on Mauna Kea, I vote for The Haole. No fathers or mothers think their own children ugly; and this self-deceit is yet stronger with respect to the offspring of the mind. -Miguel de Cervantes, novelist (1547-1616) RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 10-04-2016 Document no. 298 submitted to the hearing. From http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/documents-library/ https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/files/2016/10/TMT-298-Kanaele.pdf "I have problems with my hotspot and now getting Oceanic internet in a week, not being a lawyer need more time for me to catch up with all the new Motions and my motions. Mahalo for your consideration." I don't know whether to laugh or cry. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - randomq - 10-05-2016 TomK, that was my testimony. Cultural and traditional practices prevent me from using coffee shop wifi, I'll have to wait for my cable Internet installation. RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - HereOnThePrimalEdge - 10-05-2016 Really makes one curious as to which billion dollar telescope will discover alien life first? Or what the scientists would name the alien life after discovering it? OK, so no one seemed to care for my previous suggestion. Then, how about: Little Green Menehune? No fathers or mothers think their own children ugly; and this self-deceit is yet stronger with respect to the offspring of the mind. -Miguel de Cervantes, novelist (1547-1616) RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Tink - 10-05-2016 Sorry, missed it. I vote for the Haole, only because they probably are literally "without breath". Community begins with Aloha RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - Aaron S - 10-06-2016 The Hawaii Supreme Court issued two decisions today, which may have positive implications for the TMT project. The Court affirmed the project management plan, and the conservation district use permit for the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope on Haleakala. http://www.courts.state.hi.us/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/SCWC-13-0003065.pdf http://www.courts.state.hi.us/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/SCWC-13-0000182.pdf RE: TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo - TomK - 10-06-2016 So we're now up to document 328. http://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/documents-library/ Most of the recent ones have been from individuals asking for extensions and responses from UHH to various motions. The latest submission, from Kamahana Kealoha, caught my eye. Thought I'd post the first bit without comment (apologies for any formatting issues): https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/files/2016/10/Doc-328-Kealoha.pdf "If any part of my motion is inappropriate or does not fit a format or requirement of the mysterious user friendly system parties promoting the desecration of my burial grounds, who erroneously and unprofessionally claim I have no right to, I reserve what rights I know and do not know about and reserve the right to refashion this given the information I need to navigate this system. To date no such user-friendliness is apparent or accessible. Am I to assume, and maybe all looking in as well, that when the term user-friendly is touted it may relate to the developer not the citizen. Because the outcome and results show this to be true no matter the disingenuous claimed intent. I move on with my motion forced under duress as pro se, forced under duress by the purposely dictated schedule and unnecessarily inflated costs that I, not being a 1.4 billion dollar foreign investor, nor a prestigious judge or lawyer am forced to appear as - let me be frank THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN AND DISANFRANCHIZES ALL JUSTICE AND PEOPLE. Onward with my motion:" |
