I saw the Bob Jones column in midweek who made the point that RP is for eliminating the income tax and I agree. Though I would offset the loss of the income tax by proposing more user fees like toll roads and jack up sin taxes especially the gas tax as Romney advisor gregory mankiw advocates-

I would tend to agree with the 'You play, you pay taxes', Tada. Dr. Paul keeps reiterating the fact that we should be able to keep 100% of the fruits of our labor. Although it may be disconcerting to bear the thought of adding another $1 to every gallon of gas (we're paying close to $5/gal here in HI now), the article is right when it says that it will deter people fr. driving excessively with gas guzzlers and be more conscientious, if not for the environment, then for the bottom line of what comes out of their pockets.
Additionally, as Ron Paul had said, if we just end the illegal wars abroad and secure our own borders, we'd be saving hundreds of billions. The military industrial complex is where a major portion of our income tax goes. This is a small issue in light of the millions of murdered people across the globe. This is why Ron Paul's message of peace and liberty rings true. People here know it, that's why RP won in HI and will continue to win despite rampant election fraud.
It is critical that we stop listening to the lies on mainstream media (MSM) as they have an agenda to sell, and search for the truth via independent avenues.

At this point I think we have to come to the realization it's down to a 2 man race- Romney and Libertarian Gary Johnson. Obama lost me when he rejected his own Deficit Reduction Committee known as Bowles-Simpson. But if Romney picks a neocon like Senator Rubio I will vote Libertarian like in 2000 when I voted for Harry Browne.
I wouldn't erect toll booths all over- not in the lonesome desert when I was driving between vegas and Reno. Maybe Vegas to LA to fill the Treasury. The best place in Hawaii is the H-1 going thru downtown Honolulu- not any place on the Big Island.

Would you vote Racist Ron if he switched to the Libertarian Party, like he's done before? I don't know why the Republican Party didn't ban him for life.
