Today is the Hawaii caucus 6 PM, anyone can vote!
#1
Put an end to the corruption, lying, stealing and divisive group politics in Washington by voting for Ron Paul tonight. Anyone can vote who is a Hawaii resident, bring your friends and family. Its time to end the wars, the drug war and get our financial house in order so that social security lasts into the future. Put an end to the unconstitutional spying of the Patriot act, NDAA indefinite detainment and the all around disrespect of the US Constitution. Stop the bailouts of big banks and corporations who are cheating with tax payer money. You can find your voting locations here:

You haven't heard? Ron Paul thinks Social Security is "unconstitutional". Probably because he doesn't need it.

Sure, call someone names if you can't refute what they say.

Election is over. Another humiliating defeat for Ron Paul. How many votes did he get on the Big Island? 150?

There were that many votes for Ron Paul in Puna Makai alone. Ron Paul won the Big Island.
Dr. Paul has made it clear that we need to cut spending overseas in order to save the money to honor our entitlement obligations. He does believe that social security is unconstitutional, however he believes those that have paid in, should get there money back and no one has a plan to get those people their money besides Dr. Paul. He does want to allow those under 25 to opt out of social security and let them manage there own retirement. Its not fair to put the massive load of social security onto the future generations because the politicians spent all the current generations money elsewhere. As for your choice mis-attributed quote, Dr. Paul is the most anti-racist candidate because he does not believe in groups, only individuals. On a personal level he was one of few doctors in his area that would work with the african american community and frequently did it for free if they could not pay.

I have read your posts before, you ARE a very sad troll.

afw, Thanks for your volunteer work at the caucus in Pahoa.

PaulW - not only did Paul take the Big Island but he was 30% to Romney's 31% on Maui (9 votes apart). I guess Oahu & Kauai prefer voting via their religious affiliations rather than for constitutionalists. Honolulu definitely has a much higher proportion of Mormons than the Big Island.

So far, all I have heard is why Dr. Paul is not good. Why are any of the others advantageous?

If anyone is under any illusions that the other candidates (or their supporters) are not racist, this is what I heard from a white older woman, who is a Romney supporter, when I was in line in Pahoa and told her I was a 1st time republican voter:

She said "...you need your ID. In some states, you dont need an ID. I think those poor people, THOSE Mexicans, they should have ID's". I said ..... remaining calm only because I was speechless....."I am Mexican and I have an ID".... I thought she was going to melt or something because she was standing next to a MEXICAN. I wonder what would have happened if I said I was raised as a Catholic???? LOL

That said, the other thing I observed was a lack of color, not in ethnicity, but in clothing. I gotta say the Puna hippies are much more colorful than the Puna Republicans in their greys and browns.

Seems you don't know the difference between a troll and someone who
disagrees with you but then you don't seem to know the difference
between their and there either.

There is a definite purpose to my posts, and that is to balance the
fawning reports about Ron Paul with some reality.

The man is a racist and a homophobe and a conspiracy nut.
I'm not interested in saying anything bad about the other candidates
because 'anyone but Ron Paul' is my choice.

As for the newsletters, disavowing them now is like someone claiming they
didn't really write those emails that they sent. Pathetic.

Of course, I should've known that a conspiracy nut would carry the
Big Island! Luckily it doesn't make much difference.

Well I assume you must be well informed and did the research yourself including looking at the newsletters right? Newsletters that were written when Dr. Paul abandoned politics to go back to his medical practice, including continuing to treat people of all races for free. The newsletter that you love to quote actually does have an author that is not Ron Paul, the byline is James B. Powell. Convenient that every news story leaves that out... Something about racist smears being the lowest form of political discourse. Dr. Paul is sorry for the mismanagement of his newsletter while he was working as a doctor, but unfortunately he will not throw Powell under the bus. You already know that Dr. Paul is a bigot though, must be very difficult for his gay campaign manager and african american press secretary. Just like it was hard for this man to deal with Dr. Paul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rv0Z5SNrF4
You can see the hate seething through him here: http://www.dynw.com/ronpaulisracist/pic4.jpg oh and here to: http://www.dynw.com/ronpaulisracist/pic1.jpg
Amazing that in the hundreds of hours of Ron Paul speaking that I have watched, or in the 15 minute conversation I had with him when I met him, that none of that bigotry came across. He is just so good at hiding it you know. Especially when he talks about pardoning non-violent drug offenders and points out that african americans are 5 times as likely to end up in jail proportionally to there drug use. As for conspiracy theories, you must be talking about the time he predicted the nasdaq bubble, or 9/11, or maybe the time he was yelling at everybody about a housing bubble in 2007. He is especially crazy about warning us that we should be careful about going to war with Iran and all the foremost intelligence and military experts in the US and Israel saying that Iran does not and will not have a nuclear weapon. I mean he was wrong about Iraq back when he was warning against that...
