I moved from Hawaiian Acres to Honolulu, and it's vastly quieter here. No coqui (for now), only one rooster very far away, many fewer dogs barking all night (and amazingly, of those that do, their owners often aren't assholes who just say "hey, dogs bark, nothing I can do about it!"), and even less road noise. I miss the Big Island for many reasons, but if I move back I am going to miss how quiet the nights are here.
