RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - TomK - 01-13-2019 "Discussion on Hawaii Political Candidate and ur sniping over a couple !!s and then defending that if its truly relevant.. Your right tom it is about credibility." I tend to support political candidates that make sense and not their supporters that can't write a coherent sentence let alone make an argument. If I see a candidate for political office is supported by incoherent, rambling and well-known trolls who think it's just fine to post via their sock-puppets, then I know it's a flawed candidate that's only supported by feckin eejits. RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - Rob Tucker - 01-14-2019 Tulsa had as as much right to run as anyone. Teill likely tell how realistic it might be. The younger candidates get to try and build some name recognition for the future at least. RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - MarkP - 01-14-2019 Teill? ETA: Time will? RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - Guest - 01-14-2019 If I were in her shoes, which, obviously, I am not, I would first run for Hawaii governor to get some Executive political experience under her belt, and skip the 2020 election cycle for POTUS in order to 1. Gain the aforementioned executive experience . 2. Avoid the 2020 Primary process to avoid the same underhanded chop that Bernie got from the previous (D) candidate who indicates she wants another crack at it. 3. The 2020 general for that office is a near shoe-in for the incumbent As I earlier opinioned, admittedly on limited info, she strikes me as an honorable person and candidate, and would make an admirable and honorable opponent. While I don't think there is any circumstance where I could vote for her, I do wish her well in avoiding the disgusting dishonorable treatment that Bernie received from the DNC. America (and Hawaii) deserves a higher-level of political play that occurred and is occurring so much these days but it takes men and women of honor to make-delivery. Perhaps she could be at the van in such a movement. I wish her Bon Chance!! Speaking Truth to Lies / Facts to Ignorance RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - birdmove - 01-14-2019 I was pretty disgusted at the treatment of Bernie by the DNC also. One side of the fence would say, well, he isn't a democrat anyway, why is he running as one. I was mad at Debbie Wasserman-Shultz as the head of the DNC, and the way she did everything possible to ram Hillary through. Be it know that our own Senator Brian Schatz was a superdelegate, and cast his primary vote for Hillary despite Hawaii being about 70% for Bernie. I made a note of that in my cranium, and that act will affect my future voting. Jon in Keaau/HPP RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - Guest - 01-14-2019 Shhh Mark, lets see if persnickety tom has the stones to put his money where his mouth is now. RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - glinda - 01-16-2019 Interesting read: Chad Blair: The Incredible Shrinking Tulsi Gabbard https://www.civilbeat.org/2019/01/chad-blair-the-incredible-shrinking-tulsi-gabbard/ The color in Tulsi Gabbard’s cheeks blended well with the blazer she wore Friday, the day that Van Jones of CNN asked her if she was running for president. Yes, replied the Hawaii Democrat and U.S. congresswoman. The rapturous applause from Jones and his studio audience that followed clearly delighted her. It was a surprise unveiling of a presidential campaign that had long been rumored. Gabbard told Jones she would make a formal announcement within days, and the news dominated the news cycle for hours. Before the weekend was out, however, Starship Gabbard had been brought back down to Earth... Full article at the link above RE: Tulsi Gabbard Running For President - Guest - 01-16-2019 . |
