UNFORTUNATELY WE DO LIVE IN A LITIGIOUS SOCIETY JON. HOWEVER; I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE IDEA OF JUMPING ON A LAWSUIT DURING A TIME OF TRAGEDY. TYPICALLY IN AN ACCIDENT THERE ARE TWO SIDES, A PERSON AT FAULT AND THE VICTIM. HERE IT LOOKS AS IF THE POOR MAN THAT DIED IS BOTH. I BELIEVE THAT THERE SHOULD BE A SAFER BUS STOP FOR 130. I THINK THE FAMILY IS GOING THROUGH ENOUGH RIGHT NOW, AND WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD ACTUALLY BE CONSIDERING SUEING THEM AT THIS TIME IS BEYOND ANYTHING I COULD IMAGINE. IS THE IDEA OF MONEY SO GREAT A FORCE THAT WE PUT OUR MORALS AND COMPASSION ON THE BACK BURNER??

Safer?

The guy would still have crossed the road. To make it safer you would need a pedestrian walkway of some kind. I have seen both overhead and underground and people will still walk through traffic because they don't want to walk 25 yards out of their way to use the walkway.
