Its not even really about the friends part. Anyone can endorse or agree with something or someone. That does not mean that person is agreement or on the bandwagon in return.
These days some people wake up offended.

I don't have any friends in prison, at least to the best of my knowledge, and no, I have never been arrested for anything.

Whats unusual about that? 65+ years old here. Never been arrested. Never had as run in with the law. Two traffic tickets. None in Hawaii. One library late fine. How about you?>
