Catchment cover frame DIY? - Lee M-S - 09-28-2012 Has anyone built their own frame to hold the catchment cover out of the water? I've been pricing the pros, it's about $300 to $350 for the frame. My husband is sure he could build something cheaper... thanks, Lee RE: Catchment cover frame DIY? - lquade - 09-28-2012 yeah, the center piece that holds the 6 or 8 pieces is around 24 bucks. then use electrical conduit, a bit cheaper than if you buy poles. pretty simple to put together. where are you, might even have one lying around... I asked the *right* guy at Home Depot, and he said the hub or center piece was only available at Water Works, and cost about $20 to $80, depending on size. I didn't have time to stop at Waterworks, will call them next...
