Let's get a list going of all the places that you like to eat for under 10 bucks a person.
I guess I'll start with a few... Tho not in order...
Kens, 1plus1 cafe(near officemax), blanes, Lemon Grass Keeau, Leungs, Ning's Thai (pahoa) boggiewoogie pizza.
Just a few places I've eaten at more than once.
Hope you can share your favorites since I'd like to add a few more to my list.

For me, this is any good roadside food: huli-huli chicken, panadijas, smokemeat, maybe some laulau (this is harder to find).

The specialty sandwiches from the Deli at the Kea'au Foodland are really good, they will heat them up for you too.

The spelling varies, haves also seen panadias & panadas, but basically they are Island style empanadas the little crispy fried turnovers .... have seen both sweet & savory ( ube, haupia & lilikoi being my favs for sweet.... and kalua pork for savory... but there are all kines...

There's a panadijas guy in front of the Kurtistown ball park on Thursday afternoons, he tends to run out by 3pm. These seem to be "traditional" (but what would I know?)
A kid (who I believe is related, he uses the same recipe) was selling them at Uncle Robert's Wednesday Night Bazaar, I think he also works the Hilo beach parks.
As with Mexican food, every recipe is a little different.
