Please be mindful that Big Island Scrap metal charges $100 per ton for metal recycling and $6 per tire, That means to dispose a typical compact car would approximately be $200 plus the towing charge. Yes. However, Emergency Towing is Colby's business and he does haul our storage containers occasionally. Punaweb would not recognize his email address, so I started this thread for him.

The problem with this program is: you have to be the registered owner, it does nothing to help with the burned-out cars that get dumped on "private" roads.

Well, I am the registered owner of one hunk of junk. I can pay to have it hauled, and have your tax dollars recycle it for me, or I can drag it out into the road and have your tax dollars haul *and* recycle it for me. Processing.......
