say anyone put in a cesspool recently? i wanted an idea on cost without the sales pitch... HA area just a ballpark if that is possible... thanks in advance...

so range of 1800 to 2500 is about the same as last couple of years... i thought maybe with gas prices it might look different, but the other side of the scale is the slowdown....so now just priceshopping.... nancy... did you check with your husband? what involved with the 700$ spread? or just profit? thanks for the replys, linnette

Yes, John does both Septic and Cesspool and all other work with heavy equipment and having to do with lot preparation.
I will ask him about the septic for a 4 bed tonight.
He is charging $2400 for a cesspool but it is done right and 13' deep.

I am having one dug this coming week for 1,800. The engineer inspection is 300 dollars, plus a 100 dollar pound of flesh to the Health Department.
