HPP, Eden Rock, Glenwood
#1
We are looking at some land in HPP and I have a few questions. Is the annual maintenance fee used for road maintenance and clearing junk car? If so, why are there some lots with cars on them? I saw the pictures that someone posted on Hawaiianparadisepark.org.

Does anyone live near 23rd between Kaloli and Shower? Is this segment of 23rd nice and quiet with no junk car lot?

How about Eden Rock and Glenwood: they are higher elevation than HPP, yea? Are these nice subdivision to build retirement homes? Are they lava zone 2 or 3?

eden roc is a zone 3, and far less crowded than hpp. we have a fire station/community center, a park with a basketball court, and still 19 more acres of parkland to develope.

We also have lot in Eden Roc, and plan on retiring there. On these forums I have met two other new owners, both with plans to retire one currently building across the street from us on Ohia and Naia, and one around the corner from us making plans as we are to build. With personal trips and forum visits, we have managed to meet 4 new and 4 old time residents in Eden Roc. Another poster on this forum lives in Glenwood and is currently in the building process, so check out the threads by pslamont for Glenwood. Yes Eden Roc is lava zone 3, not sure about Glenwood. The lots are more square than long in Eden Roc if that helps. The elevation of our lot is give or take 10 feet 1879 feet. Good luck on your hunt!

Mahalo for your quick replies.
Are most of the roads in Glenwood & Eden Rock cinder packed like HPP? Also, is electricity a mix of SSPP and non-SSPP?

no the roads are not cinder, the two main ave's are paved as are 3 cross roads(out of 26). the rest are rock, gravel, and sand.some are pretty rough.
