The best were the malasada trucks! I use to eat a few when I was a kid on Oahu I think they would park them down on kam highway in pearlcity. Man... Nothing like a piping hot one straight out of the deep fat fryer...
I haven't had one in a long time. But maybe I'll just wait for baker toms to open up in hilo if he ever does set up shop. I hate to say it but sometimes when people move or take a break from working they just decide it was too much work to begin with and you never see em again.
