Aloha Oe' Dr. Layman

What a gentleman, what a caring individual. Dr. Layman just retired from his dental practice here in Pahoa. For those that did not know him, he was a giving man, first to the native children in Alaska...then to the Hawaiians on Oahu.....then to us here in Pahoa, he will be missed !!
My last conversation with him , about a month ago was about his next adventure.....prospecting for gold in the Arizona hills.
My husband and I wish him well and thank him for his low priced expertise that he gave to our community.

WOW. Literally this AM I told my husband that I was gonna call Dr L to make his dental appt. He was a nice doc. Starting practicing as he told my hubby the yr my hubby was born. (1951)

So, did someone take over his practice or ?

It does not appear that he sold based on the recorded message left on his phone. I think he just retired and closed his practice.
