Hotel Recommendation Honolulu?
#21
For a sweet, vintage Waikiki "budget" hotel:

And my review:

(the rates are from 2004) They have a very faithful following too.

Have fun!

Carey and Jim tell me about the huntress in Kioki and her "other" self. I have only been witness to her very sweet "hug me" side. I did witness her actually climbing the rafters in the house...guess she is lizard huntress as well.

You guys, I never saw such beautiful cats as these Bengals...their patterns are amazing. They have this amazing miniature wild thing look about them. I really never lived with cats in my life, but now that my Chuy-boy (Chihuahua, aka fur person, aka feline interpreter) has bonded with the cats across the street, I'm getting a whole new perspective on cats. One of them is named "Baby" and he's an orange tabby who weighs about 18 pounds. Even though he's overweight, he's mostly just a huge cat-boy. He has a big wonderful tiger head and likes to bump into you and rub his head on you. He's just so cool. They have six cats that are neutered/spayed and partially feral. Most of them come home for dinner and to snuggle at night. And the youngest snow-white cat is Chuy's friend and comes over to our house for visits with my dog. They play tag. Never thought I'd see it.

Thanks for letting me ramble. I miss you guys.

Cindy thanks for the link that is a darling place I would be happy staying there.

Frankie I did check out the QK, too late for Gene but, rates are reasonable and they have car packages with room $107.

Chuy has friends? That is sweet. Just a note on orange tabbies running into you, we call it bonking when they plow into you, and claiming when they rub up on you to leave their scent. They are saying they luvvvvv you and now you smell good too! LOL

Mella, the Hawaiians have many names for spotted:
Kikokiko & Kikiko;spotted, dotted, spattered
Kinohi; decorated with spots
'oni'o; spotted, streaked with many colors; spotted as a pig
Nokea; spotted white
Kapule; spotted black
and there are others.
After I posted this, we were out in the yard, and heard a pop. Ki'oki was found in a neighbors' yard. She was a good cat, but must have ticked off a neighbor...R.I.P.
