class sounds great, shave ice.

I guess weÔre in a drought, because when I moved here HonokaÔa was plenty wet.
I am on the Hilo side of the north coast near Onomea, and I have yet to water anything thatÔs not in a pot. [Smile]

Wish you luck Oneself. [Smile]
I looked around much of Puna while shopping for this current house and before that, including Leilani and HPP but never Mountainview or Eden Roc.

Every time I go to Mountainview it is raining or starts to rain. Too damp for me.

Leilani is too volcanically risky for my taste (but hey I bought in Zone 8). I also decided I did not want to be next door to geothermal plant.

HPP is a big area. I almost bought there. IÔm glad not to part of the road association, but otherwise I like it. You would not like Kaloli PointÔs heat. ThatÔs the part for the sun-lovers.

Eden Roc my realtor never suggested.

I looked at Kurtistown too. It has the soil, and has been farmed for a long time.

Sorry to write all that on Hamakua, but you did say "a home on the island" and there are are other parts of the island that are cooler and grow things even better than Puna. [Smile]
