Remember that carpet thread?
Well, I just spent 2 hours scraping the rubber backing from a bath mat off the tile in our bathroom as it had completely deteriorated and welded itself to the tile. Not a pretty sight, but luckily the tile could stand up to the chisel needed to remove it. Yes, cheap Walmart bathroom carpets, but the lesson is learned. Weird thing is that they are less than 2 years old, and supposedly washable (have done so 3 or 4 times, now). I'll go looking for something with no backing -- all fabric, washable and such. So what works well for the rest of you? The tile floor is slippery to step out onto from the shower.
