Fundamentals of Professional Development

In these two 3-hour workshops, instructor Siniva Pota will help you to develop your knowledge, skills and competencies in your professional practice, including interpersonal and relationship skills; supervisory skills; and management skills for better leadership. The workshops focus on practical instruction that demonstrate and drive home the essential skills you'll need to step confidently from personnel to supervisor to manager. You’ll gain insights into everything from making a good first impression to motivating people and managing change in the workplace.

Supervisory Skills: Making the Transition from Buddy to Boss is scheduled for November 3, 2016, Thursday, 5:30-8:30pm, UH Hilo, UCB 331, $45.

Management Skills: Keys to Effective Leading is scheduled for November 10, 2016, Thursday, 5:30-8:30pm, UH Hilo, UCB 331, $45. Classes may be taken as a bundle for $80 or separately for $45 each.
