"temporary" roofing material ?
#1
5 years ago I needed a temporary solution to provide roofing on a parrot aviary. I already had a 4'x8' "Plas-Tex" waterproof wall panel (interior) in storage. I think I paid $19.99 for it a few years prior at Home Depot.

My plan was to use it temporarily, assuming that the UV rays would destroy it but it gave me some leeway until I could put up a more permanent solution.

I finally replaced it today with a steel panel and to my surprise it isn't brittle, cracked, or showing any other sign of wear (other than a few rat tooth marks). And this thing was taking a full UV beating every day and wobbling in the wind gusts because it was poorly secured.

I've used SunTuf clear panels, but they seem to have gone way up in price over the last few years.
