Altrevin for LFA
#1
I noticed a "new" fire ant bait that had the same ingredients as Siesta and made by the same company, so I emailed the Hawaii Ant Lab to ask what the difference was. Here is their response:

"They are sister products, and from what we can tell are the same thing; active ingredient is at the same concentration, but you never really know what the inert ingredients are. Main thing is you follow the pesticide label for application site, rate, etc. That’s what will be different in the two. Attached are the labels. "

They attached the labels, as far as I can tell the products are 100% identical but Altrevin is labeled for use around a large range of food bearing crops. Siesta has a new supplemental label that is for a smaller range of food crops. The application rates are a little different.

ETA: fixed spelling of brand name

No idea. Very little info on Altrevin. For all I know it's only available in 50# bags.
