Anyone,know what's going on? One helicopter on the ground, another just came in. Multiple. Flashing lights on the ground.

That would be indicative of a rescue. Let's hope it was that and not body retrieval.

That’s kind of far from Hilo, but a woman was swept away at Boiling Pots this past weekend.

With fire trucks and police there?? Also this happened after sunset, not a safe time for helicopters to be flying.

Thanks Tom for catching that. Since there hasn't been any news, I am thinking it was a serious medical emergency that wasn't accident related. It was just a surprise seeing all the emergency vehicles and helicopters there.
