Something interesting at Safeway gas pumps
#11
It's kind of funny,Chika Nakano Repair Shop still has full service and they have the locks on their nozzles. The attendants start pumping and then walk away.
It's across from the mall in Hilo, on the frontage road.

Haa back in the day, jugging a fill 'er up and put two in, another a ten, can I get this two in real fast + windshield BEFORE the ten goes over ? Sometimes working 8 pumps. Cash in pocket, giving change on the spot. Choreographed and played those lockers all the time.

REQUIRED to wash windshields @ HESS.

I expect the full service boys are certified by the state in some way.

Well thanks a66. I'm greatly relieved that its the state of Hawaii looking out for my safety (again) and not just that I'm just a dumba** who can't figure out how the pump locks work.
Certainty will be the death of us.

And also the pumps on the mainland have a fume return to the holding tank. U can easily stick something into the clicker . It will click off all the time if u run it wide open. It may not if run very slow. I have had it spill over that way. Seen a 5 gal spill once. Just rinsem down eh. The solution to polution is dilution. Famous oil spill response saying from school. Clean islands council class. 2006. Same year my shop burnt down Kawaihae. Hamakua mac nut co. Never buy there nuts ever.
