Has anyone signed up for their service?
I don’t use much data, so at $15 a month voice/text/data it might be a good deal.
It says they use Verizon Wireless network, and Spectrum hotspots so they should have good east side Hawaii coverage.

There were a couple of different threads about this. Last month I finally got Spectrum Mobile which costs 50% less than we were paying Verizon. We signed up for the 1Gb data rate which is plenty for us. It uses Verizon towers and can also connect via Wifi if available. They were easy to deal with and the dreaded phone conversion and data transfer was surprisingly easy. We needed new phones (we were overdue) and did the whole thing over the phone, new phones delivered via Fedex to our door. They also have an unlimited data plan that is also way less than Verizon.
Certainty will be the death of us.

HOTPE I would say, do not hesitate on going with spectrum mobile. I changed our two phones from Verizon and could not be happier. Saved my 60 bucks a month. The service is identical to Verizon with the exception of video calling. I ordered my SIM card from spectrum online, but I did have to call for some help to finalize the change. Something goofy with my phone, but it was fixed within minutes.
The coverage area is absolutely identical to Verizon. Very spotty from Pohoiki to Uncle Roberts on the coast.
I briefly changed to ATT to check out their coverage. Boy was that a disaster.
Hope this helps with your decision.

My wife and I just switched from ATT prepay to Spectrum. We had to buy new phones to be compatible with Verizon but their $100 promo credits helped. New phones ended up costing $59 each. The switch over was painless and the 2 weeks we have used them has been great. The coverage has been very good. We save $25 a month but now have the option to put one phone in the unlimited data plan when we travel to the mainland. With one phone on the unlimited plan and one on the 1g plan the cost is $4 cheaper than the ATT preplay we had with 6g limits.
Just noticed spectrum will be charging $10 more for internet starting next month. Not happy about that!
Still worth the change. Do it!

Weʻve had Spectrum Mobile for a couple years now. We were paying $48//mo for two phones with 1Gb each of data. A few months ago we got a bill for $28. I thought Iʻd overpaid them. But our bill has been $28/mo for three months now. Great service, uses Verizonʻs line. Did anyone else have this happen? Or it might be worth checking out if you donʻt have it. You need to have Spectrum internet to qualify.

I switched over last July. I pay $14 per Gb. so that sounds right in your case. If you go over 1Gb, they charge another $14.
One month I used 1.01 Gb.
