Puna Precious Plastics' next recycling dropoff is Sat. 1/11 from 2-4PM at Shipman Park, next to the soccer fields. They accept 1.2.4.5 plastics, clean, separated by number and labels removed if possible.

And Business Services accepts newspaper, as well as mixed use clean paper. at Kea'au Shipman Business Park (16-630 Kipimana St., Keaau, HI 96749)

What does Pahoa Recycling Center take? Anything that Pahoa or Keaau transfer stations don't?

I think Pahoa Recycling takes HI5 only, but not sure. This is something different, taking newspaper and mixed paper, but haven't been there to verify this. I do know that business serviecs in shipman business park takes newspaper and mixed paper. Pahoa transfer station no longer recycles paper of any kind.
