The Honolulu Police Department purchased a $150,000 Boston Dynamics robot dog. Do they really know what they’re going to do with it, or did somebody on the SWAT team say, this looks cool! Right now a bunch of 20 something officers are arguing over who gets the remote control next, and wondering if there’s enough CARES money for another one. With two, they’d get a lot more use out of them, squaring off in the department parking lot.

Don't worry, when it's obsolete and no longer works, they'll "donate" it to the BI.
