I gave up with the county civil defense and any related agencies years ago. When I got informed, over and over again, that a small earthquake that was nowhere near the ocean and there was no tsunami, even though it couldn't have caused a tsunami in the first place, was the time I gave up with them.

The text messages are even worse.

My car has bluetooth for a cell phone and receives text message. When civil defense sends out a message instead of stating what the message is about, they have a link to a website that contains the info.

My car reads the text message to me so I hear "https colon slash slash evb dot gg slash n number 6 acccckjl slash 06v8iwek "
