Electrician for generator to house hookup

Gus, we encountered the same issues ordering from Home Depot as you and ended up ordering a Champion model from Tractor Supply. If you go to their website, they don't recognize that the Hilo store exists, so you have to enter a West Coast zip code to shop. Once you find a generator you like listed as available on line, call the store in Hilo and they will tell you if and when they can get it. It will cost more than the website price, too, but it ends up being similar to Home Depot pricing. The guys at ACE Electric suggested we do this.

MarkP, thanks for the info. For a number of reasons, noise is not a major factor at our location, and we have good ventilation at the generator site.

Page 74 of the EU7000is manual does say that the exhaust system contains a catalytic converter. Maybe it is built into the muffler, hence not listed as a separate part. Nice feature.
