New Mauna Kea authority takes its first steps

Thought I'd start a new thread rather than replying to an older one, just to keep things clean as this is the beginning of a process. 

The state has now made the first serious step in forming this new authority with the governor naming the eight members of the Maunakea Stewardship and Oversight Authority, although the following article doesn't name them, probably because they need to be confirmed by the Senate. I'm sure the process will be as smooth as silk, ahem.
