Kaleo's in Pahoa closed

We went to Keleo's in Pahoa last Saturday for dinner and they never opened. We then went to Kaleo's in Orchidland and found out the Pahoa restaurant will be closed for the rest of June and all of July. Something having to do with kitchen staffing problems.  Just a heads up.

We were at Orchidland Kaleos today. They know about it but its not something they want to talk about. But just letting people know who might want to go there this weekend or in the future.

Sure seems an odd way to run a restaurant business. If you're going to close for the summer, just say "Closed For The Summer" and direct patrons to the Orchidland location. No reason needed.

All the socials and their website make no mention of a summer closure. Ironically there is even a Yelp review posted on Sunday, June 21 from a guy from NY who claims he had dinner there on Saturday the 20th with 5 people and everything was great. 

At any event, I'd always suggest a call ahead to either make reservations or at a minimum to make sure they are open.

Kaleo's in Pahoa will reopen Friday July 10th at 4pm. Please come out and support our local restaurant.
