Here's the county survey.

Here's where the results are supposed to be posted:

And as for the first test of the PCDP plan, and what it promises, look into the selection process of the PCDP Action Committee, their authority, and what "community" input has been considered in their selection.
Who? Exactly.
And why am I the only one here who feels this is important to bring up?

Hi Jay, What makes you think you are the only one who recognizes the importance of the Action Committee?
Join up with FoPF and you will be in the loop amigo. You're late to the game but I'm glad to see you are a quick study. We could use you too.
The survey is skewed to those who actually took part. But I guess anyone with an opinion can fill it out.... it's not my survey.
The PCDP is going to be entering it's most important phase soon. I am considering devoting a separate forum to PCDP topics.

Hi Rob,
Sorry, don't mean to suggest that I'm the only one who's concerned about the Action Committee, just the only one on this Punaweb forum who's actually brought it up, again, here on this forum. I think the community at large should be able to be "in the loop" without joining the "FoPF."

Which is why I am looking into launching a separate forum....
Of course the community at large is free to attend to or ignore the issue(s) as it prefers.

Now THAT would be a very good idea, and would go a long way to maintaining an appearance of true community inclusiveness. As well, surely there are those with the time to distill the public input from such a forum and present the synopsis of its contents to the more "involved" committees.

Here is where the results are to be posted following the deadline for the survey which is August 24, 2008.
http://www.hcrc.info/community-planning/...uation/cdp-
evaluation-survey/.
Please help the County of Hawaii prepare for CDP implementation and to
improve future CDPs by taking a short online survey:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=pI...ZdVQ_3d_3d
The survey can be completed in 10-20 minutes and will only be available
until August 24, so please complete it today.
Please also encourage other community members to complete the survey. The
more feedback the County gets, the more it can do to improve its work with
communities. Hard copies of the survey are available upon request.

Thanks Rob.
I can see that I am tardy with my homework and premature with some comments.
Time to learn me up.
