Seen so many lost dog alerts here lately that I felt compelled to give a heads up on what I just saw in Hawaiian Shores near the Puni Makai intersection.
A black (labrador mix?)dog walking very slowly, crossed Kahakai stopping traffic both ways, then turned onto Puni Makai (Hawaiian Shores' side mauka end). Didn't verify gender, but it's a mid-to-large sized dog, I'm guessing about 65-80 pounds. It looked exhausted and thirsty so we tried to approach with some water but it looked scared. Seems like a really nice dog that got disoriented and lost its way. I'm worried for the dog's safety so can just imagine how its owner must feel...
