Hot Showers at Pahoa Pool

So! Starting July 1st, folks using the Pahoa Pool can enjoy a hot shower. Taking the chill off the pool experience those who continue their exercise during the cooler months -- will be a nice bonus. Ms. Naeole-Beason, herself a frequent visitor to the pool, has heard the pleas of the seniors who have been using the pool and who have been feeling the chill. She has busily worked to get some form of heat on for the seniors and others who suffer from arthritis to other such maladies the cool temp aggravates. Having the hot showers is a plus. The solar heating for the whole pool is on the CIP list so it can now be pursued as soon as she can find funding. It is hard to imagine right now the pool is cool with the water temps being at near perfect for use, but clearly the 'winter' months here drop the pool temps down to a challenging temp.
