Flooring: eucalyptus plank vs. tile

Many folks pre-drill the nail holes when they are using eucalyptus robusta so they are able to get the nails through the wood. It makes a lovely floor, nice dark wood. Another nice floor wood is mango although that one is a much more figured wood so that would change the look of the finished floor.
