Power outage -- where else?

Power went out in at least some areas north of Hilo just before 8'pm -- two or three false restates. Power outage status line is busy. Just wondering if it's really localized or in spread out areas.

Got through to HELCO and it's Hamakua coast and one part of Kona. Puna is spared but hope it's not next because the trouble crews are in the field ...

and yay as I type in the dark it's back ... Hope it stays because we still haven't had dinner.

There is an odd outage of cable service in Pahoa, 3/4 of the channels are out in a random sort of way.

Interesting, all the cable and Internet went out here and hasn't returned. At least the 3G is working. There's no pattern to your outage? It used to be that the digital would go out but the analog might all right, but it's all digital now.
