CDP-ACs New Schedules and Sunshine

County Planning has determined that Action Committees throughout the county are to meet every other month now. Budget cited.

Director states subcommittees can meet more often.

Personally, I believe Sunshine Law restriction on Action Committees will serve to slow down an already slow process due to ACs inability to meet in a group of more than 2 in the process of 2 month span.

CDP has been drafted into law. It's aims are public record. AC members are not county employees.

Could someone inform me of the purpose of sunshine law for community committees?

I plead honest ignorance and am not being a wise guy. I would just like to have some input on this as I am beginning to feel frustrated about this process.
