women to men ratio

Living here now 7 years has taught me one thing. Do not move here without a significant other.I think those who plan to move here must also consider this criteria. I have had two relationships in 7 years. One for 3 years and one for a month! I think it is important not only to consider neighborhoods, crime, and other important factors, but if you are single I think you may find it hard to meet someone or adjust yourself to the beauty of the island and make that your love.

All being said, it is the natural beauty of this island that keeps us all here.Despite all odds we keep on keeping on to live here despite social, economical, and other factors. It is indeed a good disease to love Hawaii for which there is not a cure!

For me...Paradise wouldn't be Paradise if I didn't have someone to share it with

You better get to livin', boy. Just go get an insignficant other. And consider broadening your categories to women with moustaches. Honey, you ain't lived til' you've dated one of those.

I am in that unenviable category on match.com of bear cub (or probably just bear -- I can't decide) 59 year old gay guy with a neurological disorder that is slowly making him lame. It is so hard to be a lothario when you are dragging one foot behind you!

I'm not going to let that stop me. I have it in mind to check in on Jason Scott Lee when I am on island to see if he has come around to my way of thinking. Or, you know, at least to get some tips on growing taro. And all you actual friends of Jason Scott Lee: Silence! You do not get to decide who visits him or to screen their motives! I realize he has a girlfriend. One problem at a time!

And I am going to say aloha to every guy I meet. The checkers at Foodland already think I am insufferable. Just. Keep. Trying. Stop whining and stop pining.

And guys DO come to the island and hook-up. I have voodoo dolls of them which I stick with pins in the private parts.

Here. This will help:

Percentage of females:
USA 50.7% Hawaii State 49.5% Hawaii County: 49.7%

I've met women who complain about a "man drought" in Puna so it works both ways.
The presence of a healthy number of our gay guy friends here increases your chances too!
I'd try the internet (if you haven't already) it's got a much further reach than the occasional potluck. Good luck!

I like the responses lol. Actually a gay man has better chance here than a caucasian straight male. Im thinking? Do not get me wrong. i have met many but cannot say the choices were anything to write mom home about if she was alive lol. However friendships to me are seemingly these days more important than relationships. Relationships are great to have, but Im always open to more friends. Friends last longer! Ive been busy on Sundays at Maku'u market so I have never been able to show up and say hello at scuba sunday. Im going to give it a try maybe this sunday.
