best local on-line news

I tried to look at the free online edition, but the website says undergoing maintenance right now.

It is called the e-Edition. There should be box somewhere on the page to click on and enroll. This link may be more direct:
http://www.hawaiitribune-herald.com/e-editions

Depending on your font size there is a green box at or just below the bottom of the first screen page that says "subscribe now".

Funny no one mentioned any of the radio stations or Hawaii Public Radio.....but then again the thread is about ONLINE news.....

I've been a Subscriber of the Hawaii-Tribune e-edition for 4 years now. Can't go wrong. Its better than the paper edition.
