None in Hilo, there is the Saturday one at Uncle Robert's in Kalapana.

If you want to see the hip-shaking dancers and fire dancers and all that show put on for tourists, you have to go where the tourists are, and be ready to spend close to $100 pp for the good ones.

The cheesier and cheaper lu'au shows are at the Sheraton, the King Kam, the Royal Kona Resort. Not to say they couldn't be fun. (I would look at the latter two.)

The moderate lu'au are at the Marriott Waikoloa, Hilton Waikoloa. The high end shows are at the Fairmont and the Mauna Kea. Kona Village was considered da bomb and most authentic, but the tsunami shut it down.

I may have missed a couple -- they are not my deal. I've been to the Marriott and it was fine. They do roast the pig in the imu. Sheraton doesn't. Fairmont is a fixed menu and not a buffet.

All the hotel websites that do them should have a page that tells all about it, so just run a search using the hotel name and lu'au, and it should come up.

Have fun!
