Kilauea Open House 1/21
#1
Just got this info in an email:
"Hawaiian Volcano Observatory
Centennial Celebration
Saturday, January 21, 2012 #9642; 9:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m.
You are invited to an Open House celebrating the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Geological Survey’s Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, an event made possible through the cooperation of the National Park Service, which granted free admission to Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park on this day. HVO expresses gratitude to Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, KIlauea Military Camp, Hawai‘i Pacific Parks Association, Volcano Art Center, the USGS Ecosystems KIlauea Field Station, and the UH-Hilo Center for the Study of Active Volcanoes for their participation in our centennial celebration today.
Parking is available at KIlauea Military Camp. A free shuttle between KMC and HVO is provided 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
HVO Open House Activities
HVO is not ordinarily open to the public, but during our Centennial Open House you can tour the observatory to learn about the eruptive history and current status of Hawai‘i’s active volcanoes and how HVO scientists monitor volcanoes and earthquakes. See demonstrations and displays, participate in activities, meet HVO scientists, and more"

I received 2 pdf files of the actual schedules, cannot file a weblink for one, but did find:
